I feel like the artist perfectly captured Morpheus. The way everything just melts together feels very dreamlike. His cloak is night sky but it’s actually the empty vastness of space but it’s actually a river of ink which reflects like a mirror which then turns into a pathway.
This artwork feels like something that belongs in the comic books. If Elizabeth ever gets the chance to do cover art for Sandman, she would blow the assignment out of the water!
The print itself is high quality, with vibrant colours. It was packaged with a backing of cardstock to prevent bending, and even came with some lovely little freebies. I’m definitely gonna buy more art from here in the future.
